BIO:  With a Bachelor's of Science in Occupational Health and Safety Management from Grand Valley State University, I embarked on a career journey dedicated to ensuring workplace safety and fostering organizational excellence. Beginning in 2016, I honed my skills in the automotive industry, spearheading Johnson Controls' EHS initiatives and successfully steering them towards ISO 14001 and 45001 certifications. Transitioning to Tesla in 2017, I assumed the role of EHS Manager, overseeing operations across eight diverse locations encompassing lithium battery labs, stamping facilities, and robotic automation units. Through strategic interventions, I achieved substantial reductions in workplace injuries, reinforcing my commitment to safeguarding employees' well-being. In 2023, driven by a desire to effect broader change, I founded Aurora Safety Advisors, a consultancy firm aimed at transforming safety cultures across various sectors. Notably, I collaborated with industry giants such as Fidelity Investments and Comerica Bank, crafting bespoke safety programs tailored to their unique needs. My approach is characterized by a profound dedication to systemic change, prioritizing holistic solutions over temporary fixes and fostering dialogue across all levels of an organization, from frontline workers to C-suite executives.
